Reset Windows Vista Password Using Password Reset Disk
Sometime we forget password to login to Windows Vista. If you forget Login password to windows vista, don’t worry, you can reset your password using password reset disk. If you don’t have a password reset disk, you’ll need to get someone with an administrator account on the computer to reset your password. But If you using this methode, you might lose access to some of your files. We recommend that you create a password reset disk, so you don’t lose access to your files and information.
To Create a Password Reset Disk Follow these steps, you’ll need removable media such as a USB flash drive or CD.
- Open User Accounts by Clicking Control Panel - User Accounts
- In the left pane, click Create a password reset disk, Then click next.
- Select removable media, (I use Flasdisk) then click next
- Type your windows vista password then Click next. The windows vista will create password reset disk, await till progress complete. Then click next.
- Password reset disk have been created and make sure you store the password reset disk in a safe place.
To Reset Your Windows Vista Password
- If you enter the wrong password when you attempt to log on, Windows displays a message that the password is incorrect. Click OK to close the message.
- Click Reset password, and then insert your password reset disk (or other removable media).
- Follow the steps in the Password Reset Wizard to create a new password.
- Log on with the new password. If you forget your password again, you can use the same password reset disk. You don’t need to make a new one.
