AOMEI PXE Boot – A Free & Easy to Use PXE Boot Tool
At the end of 2014, AOMEI Technology released this freeware. If you have used AOMEI Backupper before, and upgrade it to the newest version, you can find there is a new feature as the following picture, yes, AOMEI PXE Boot is deriving from AOMEI Backupper.
What is AOMEI PXE Boot used for?
As the name suggests, it is a PXE Boot tool. PXE means preboot execute environment. With AOMEI PXE Boot, you can boot your computers from an image file via network. it supports synchronous boot of multiple computers. And you can maintain computers within LAN easily and quickly.
The work mode of AOMEI PXE Boot is maser(server)/client. If you are a webmaster who manage a server and a lot of clients within LAN, but those clients have no CD-ROM drive and USB ports. In this situation, you can seek help of AOMEI PXE Boot.
Advantages of AOMEI PXE Boot
Freeware, which would be hard to exaggerate. Small size! Its installation package is only 5MB, downloading and installing won’t spend you much time. Although it is small, it is powerful! Compared with other PXE boot tools, AOMEI PXE Boot Tool supports bootable micro-system created by you. Therefore, if you have a powerful Linux bootable ISO or Windows PE bootable ISO, you can easily maintain the computers within LAN through network with your micro-system. To use it, just need two steps: Install it on a master computer, select an image file and start service. Then on the client computers need to be maintained from network boot, set its BIOS boot mode as “Network boot”.
