Autodesk develop AutoCAD based browser named Project Butterfly. Project Butterfly enables AutoCAD users to edit and collaborate on AutoCAD drawings from any computer with an Internet connection. With Autodesk Project Butterfly we can work with AutoCAD from Linux or MAC OS without virtualization you just need Internet browser such as Firefox, Chrome, etc.
If you want to use project butterfly you must use Firefox 3.0 and higher, Google Chrome, IE7 and higher, Safari 3.0 and higher with Adobe Flash Player version 9 or higher installed in your computer. If you download drawings from Project Butterfly the downloaded drawing can be used on following AutoCAD version: AutoCAD 2010, AutoCAD 2007 and AutoCAD 2004
