Because many questions about reset method Printer Canon Pixma MP190. And last I found this method but I’m not yet tries this method. For the things want to try this method work or not for reset ink counter in Canon MP190 I share in this blog.

tengo problema pixma multifuncional mp190 con los pasos que se dice no me funciona parece lo confunden con mpc190 que es totalmente diferente si alguien por favor podria ayudarme

Hola tengo elproblema para resetear el residuo de tinta dela canon pixma mp190, ya le limpie toda la parte de absorcion de residuos de tinta la arme nuevamente y me sigue saliendo el codigo de error E2.7, por favor si me pueden ayudar con eso , les quedaria muy agradecido…

just long press stop/reset botton to allow printer to print at ink out mode.

Try this then email me if it works:
Reset Waste Ink
1) Enter SERVICE MODE.
By pressing Menu, Copy, Scan, Copy, Copy
2) Select TEST MODE.
3) Select [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.
4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR].
5) Select 0. [INK COUNT].
6) Press the [Set] key.
7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.

you need to be in service mode to use it
this also applies to newer model canon printer

try this.. it worked on my MP198
1. Start with printer OFF
2. Hold down STOP/RESET and then hold down POWER
3. Release STOP/RESET (don’t let go of the power just yet)
4. press RESUME twice, then release POWER
5. let green light blink until printhead has finished moving.

try this.. it worked on my MP198

i have had try that command, it was working at first, but if you turn off and on again the problem still persist.
