A little off topic but well worth mentioning. If you have an Epson all-in-one meaning photo quality printer & scanner – use Ashampoo Photo Commander 7 or newer to aquire your color scans.

Unbelievable improvement over OEM Epson included software. I know I’m plugging Ashampoo products but you will like it.

Have not tried it as of yet but lists many of epson’s junk sold to people like me. I have 2 RX580′s and they did cost me plenty until I found the 6 cartridge pack on ebay for less than $30. Those laid in a drawer for about 10 months before install and now lasting a very long time as the chip was obviously modified or crippled before shipping. And these are OEM Epson cartridges usually $80 elsewhere.

Bought several chip re-setters and all did not work – beware on the 9 pin cartridge re-setters for the photo ink jets – they say it will work but usually does not. The battery can be replaced on many re-setters but usually die anyway. Ask first before buying.

I try to used re setter for epson T60 to reset the waste ink pad. I tried to reset the waste ink pad but there is a problem it said communication error. Can you help me how to use the re setter. There might be step by step procedure
