Well, I downloaded the free trial version and I must say that this is a great tool to have your own movie burnt into a DVD, now you can have all those pictures and videos down memory lane, mixed and merged the way you want to. All files which are stored on your laptop can now be arranged the way you want and cut into a DVD to run and enjoy at leisure through your television screen.  This is a highly customizable and editable tool where you can create the background, music, frames and add text and subtitles the way you want, and finally before burning into the DVD, you get to preview on what to expect. You can burn video to DVD from all popular SD video formats, including AVI, MP4 MPG etc. Also HD video as well as photos in BMP, JPEG, TIFF can be preserved.

Thus Wondershare DVD creator is a great way to craft your own DVDs.

Pros:

Simple to use and fast

Import of videos and photos was very quick and video volume adjusted well.

With slideshow edit you can edit to add texts in fonts and color in the way you want to add titles and subtitles to bring about headings and chapters

The transition effects are nice and with a certain amount of variety to choose from, features like merge and fading are good. You also have the feature to trim.

The great thing is you can customize the way you want of the background, background music and create chapters.

It is also good to have the preview before burning to disc. Though in the free version I guess, the quality our put isn’t entirely featured. Otherwise you can choose to fit the disc space, standard or high quality.

It is a great and simple way to make your own photo video on DVD from home.

Cons:

I don’t feel features like 180 rotation on slide edit is much worth.  There should be more worth and innovative ones.

The provided templates and back grounds are not really worth it and the types of frames provided should be more diverse and attractive.

I like the fact it is simple and great, but I believe there should be more attractive features only then it would be worth buying. Otherwise as a free tool it should be alright
