Stop Hiding Inactive Icons in the Windows Vista Taskbar

Make Windows Vista alway show Inactive Icons in the Vista Taskbar, that is :

• Right-click the taskbar, choose Properties
• When the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box appears, click Notification Area tab

  

• Uncheck Hide inactive icons to Showing all inactive icons on the Windows Vista taskbar
• Click OK to close the dialog box

• Right-click the taskbar then choose Properties
• When the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box appears, click the Taskbar Tab
• Uncheck Hide inactive icons to Showing all inactive icons on the Windows Vista taskbar
• Click OK to close the dialog box.
