A. Windows Vista Defender

Windows Defender is facility in the windows vista. one of the facility of windows vista defender is spyware scanner. To configuraton of vista defender that is :

Open control panel (click classic view).
Open defender
Click Tools – Options. check or uncheck everything you see to disable or enable vista defender, such as : automatically scan my PC, use real time protection, advanced options, click save
If user access control is on, you may get a warning. Click continue.

B. Spyware Scanner in the Windows Vista

Windows vista come with spyware scanner facility. To use Spyware Scanner in the Windows Vista follow this steps :

Open control panel
Select security
Choose windows defender
Select down arrow in the right scan menu
Then choose quick scan

C. User Access Control in Windows Vista

In most versions of Vista, access control user is enabled, it is a security procedure that alerts you before you allows to do something considered at risk, for example, modifiying system settings. Follow this step to disable or enable user access control in Windows Vista :

Open Control Panel
Open User Accounts
Click turn user account control select on to enable and select off to enable useraccess control
Untick use user access control
click OK (you may need to restart you PC to take effect)
