Search Engine Optimization for WordPress using Platinum SEO Pack
Platinum SEO pack is complete solutions Searh Engine Optimization (SEO) Plugin for WordPress blog. But how to use this SEO plugin to optimize the wordpress blog. This article is result of my experiment use Platinum SEO Pack for several month. I hope this post usefull for blogger using wordpress.
Tips Before Optimize WordPress Blog using Platinum SEO Pack
- Change Pemalink setting. I recommend to use one of the setting following, Month and name or Custom structure because he setting can give best result.
- Check source code of your wordpress theme. The code must valid XHTML and CSS. You can check the using XHTML validator or CSS validator.
Tips Using Platinum SEO Pack
- Check Automatically do 301 redirects for permalink changes, to redirects for any permalink changes without worrying about loss of Page rank or google penalty.
- Check this option to activate noindex (Use noindex for Categories, Use noindex for Date based Archives, Use noindex for Tag Archives, RSS feeds, Search result pages, sub pages, author archives) this setting to avoid duplicate content in search engine.
- Activated “Autogenerate Descriptions”, to create meta tag descriptions automativcally for any post and page.
- Activated Rewrite Titles (optional), but I suggest to activate this setting.
- For other setting use default setting.
How to Optimaze Blog Post or Page using Palatinum SEO Pack
When you write a post or page, you’d see this options. At keyword options you must fill with best keyword that found on your article because this options to create meta keyword in the article. How to get the best keyword? you can use wordtracker, goodkeyword or use google trend.
For description you can write down short description article (maximum of 160 chars) or let empty, because we have activated autogenerate descriptions to create meta description automatically.

im just a beginner in Search Engine Optimization and i am still doing quite a lot of research about basic SEO.
im a newbie in Search Engine Optimization and i still need to study more on internal linking. Currently, what i do to optimize my website is just make as many backlinks as possible.
