Unlock DVD Region Protection with DVD Decrypter

DVD region code is designed to protect copyright and to control film distribution rights, aspects of a release, including content, release date, and price, according to the region.  DVD discs can be played only with the region code restricting the area of the world.  On the word region DVD is divided into six major geographical regions are: region-1, region-2, region-3, region-4, region-5, until region-8 and with two additional regions reserved for specialized use. Its mean the DVDs manufactured in one region cannot be played on other region.

So the DVDs that can be played in other regions, the DVDs must be unlocked first. One of the software can be used to unlock DVD region or DVD description is DVD Decrypter.

DVD Decrypter allows you to unlock a region-specific DVD to be copied and played to all-region DVD. DVD Decrypter is freeware software for windows that can be used to create backup of the DVD video, but controversially it is especially useful for decrypting copy-protected movies.

Region 4:  Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Central and South America, Caribbean and Oceania
Region 5: Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Africa, North Korea, Mongolia, North and South Asia.
Region 6: Peoples Republic of China and Hong Kong

Other DVD regions:

Region 7: Reserved for the future use
Region 8: Special international venues (airplanes, cruise ships, etc.)
