Adjustment Program for Epson R220 and Epson R230
With 6 individual cartridge, Epson R220 and R230 is one of the best photo printers. It can print photos up to to 5760 x 1440 dpi. This epson printer is compatible with Windows 98, Windows 2000, ME Windows XP and Macintosh.
A classic problem on the Epson printer is blinking that is caused by the counter on the printer being full. To solve the problem you must reset the printer. On the Epson printer you can do this using an adjustment program or SCC program to reset the counter printer. Here I will only write about resetting Epson R220 and R230 using the adjustment program
How to Reset Epson R220 and R230 Counter using this Adjustment Program
- Run the Adjustment program then Click accept (note: set date setting in your printer to Jan 12, 2006, this setting to prevent the adjustment error)
- Set model, port and destination for the printer
- Click Maintenance Tab then Check waste ink pad counter section
- Then clear the protection counter (reset counter to zero)
- Click Ok, Ok. done. Your printer has reset

i can’t use the epson r230 adjustment application i downloaded
Maybe you do not alter date setting in your computer. To use adjustment program for epson R230 whitout error, change date setting in the pc to 3 October 2006.

@NOman, now you can follow this methode.
# Turn on the printer
# Run the software (The printer must installed correctly before running the software).
# Click accept and thes set port, destination and model printer.
# Click maintenante tab
# Select waste ink pad counter then reset the counter to zero.

Thanks a lot to response me. How can I run the software while it is showing Error? I understand the next steps but plz inform me about using the software without error. I can tried every efford. I use date cracker, bat file & changing computer date. 1 month ago I solved the problem but no longer today. Plz release me from the problem. bye bye
