Resetter Epson Stylus Photo R220 and R230
Before run adjustment program or software resetter Epson Stylus Photo R220 and R230, set date setting in your computer to 12 January 2006. Here how to Reset Epson R220 and R230 using the software
- Download and extract downloaded software and run it.
- Click accept button.
- Set model name, port selection and destination setting and equal to your printer.
- Click Maintenance Tab.
- Check mark waste ink pad counter.
- And the clear the protection counter (reset counter to zero)
- Then click Ok, Ok
- done

Is there a way to use the used ink in the waste tank rather than throwing the ink away? In other words, can i re use the ink? Thanks

@reaj, maybe your cartridge dirty or broke. cleaen the chips or replace with new cartridge chips

I was able to restore my Epson R220 after over a year of lost hope for this little guy (tried the link for the R220-230 first and kept getting a message about a missing DLL – perhaps because I was trying to use the program under Vista). Anywho! Thanks for coming to my rescue!!! You’ve saved another person a lot of money and kept my our landfills a little less full. May the Bird of Happiness really lay it on you!

@ joven, I think you need to reset the chip’s cartridge of the printer. Unfortunately adjustment program can not be used to reset the chip cartridge on Epson printer.

I’ve reached the counter limit, my counter reads 101% usage so a my printer needs service for recounter….which is painstaking because I have to bring it to the technician. Unfortunately our technician wont be available for one week and I can’t afford to wait too long for the service. Thankfully I stumble upon a forum and saw a post that directed me to this link. Thanks a lot. I’ve fixed my printer through this software. I found that this software does not work with Windows 7, so I changed my OS to Windows XP. More power.

Printer Model – R230
Waste Ink Pad Counter Reseted to 0 (Zero) successfully.
After Restarting the printer it is blinking both the Red lights on both left buttons.
On Clicking get status – it is showing Fatal Error.
Kindly help.

C:\Adjustment Program\SPR220230 delete the file then follow the adjusment programme
