Google Webmaster Provide More Complete Traffic Report

Now new version of Google webmaster provides more complete traffic report. Besides the keywords search query incoming to your website, you can also see search result position your website or blog on Google by using the keyword and amount of CTR for each position that your site’s pages appeared at in the search results associated with that query. Although the traffic report provided by Google Webmaster is not as accurate as Google’s analytic, you can use this tool if you want to use a simple web analytic, but if you want very complete web analytic you can use Google analytic.

What’s new in Google webmaster?

1. You can view top search query for specific period

Previously Google webmaster only provided top search query for this week, this month, and last month. Now you can see the data top search query for your website in specific time using date range selector. Google webmaster also provided chart for that keyword. This feature similar to what Google Analytics offers.

2. View Position You Web in Search Result

Now you can view position your website in Google search result and Clickthrough for that keyword. This will give you the opportunity to optimize your website for the keywords. The new feature, you will also see a list of your site’s pages that were linked to from the search results for the search query.

3. Google Webmaster provided more that 100 queries

Previously Google webmaster only provided 100 top search queries. Now if your website have more than 100 queries, you’ll see new pagination buttons at the right-bottom of the Top Search Queries table.
