You need 4 Easy steps to install Firefox Extensions (Add-Ons in the Firefox 2 or Extensions on the Firefox 1), here’s how:

• Start Firefox and click Tools, Add-Ons (ver. 2xx), Start Firefox and click Tools, Extensions (ver. 1xx), An Extensions dialog box appears
• In the lower-right corner, click Get More Extensions. Firefox takes you to the Mozilla Update Extensions page, You can scroll through the list of most popular and most recent extensions, or you can search directly, select Extensions from the drop-down list, and press Enter.
• When you find an extension you like, click Install Now. Firefox returns to the Extensions dialog box, showing you the status of your new extension. Each extension is different, but most require you to restart Firefox in order to take effect.
• Click “X” in the upper-right corner to get rid of the Extensions dialog box. Then, if so instructed, close all your Web pages and start Firefox again
